Patrick H Donohue

On November 8th, 2013, I successfully defended my doctoral thesis. Almost six years of my life to be able to say this:

Proving, once and for all, that I will do anything for a joke. Now, not everyone’s name can be humorously improved with a doctorate. These people may instead decide to pursue one for academic reasons. Both are noble pursuits and should be rewarded with cookies.

Anyway, I spent 2014 with a new PI to keep things interesting, as a post-doc in nuclear post-detonation material forensics. Another paper published, and more than enough drafts to replace it. But now my Notre Dame era is over, and I’m excited about what the future will bring.
